Race for Life
A team of 25 girls from The Queen’s School took part in this year’s Race for Life event at Chester Racecourse.

Fly away winners
As part of their science work the girls of Year Five visited Chester race course. They entered a competition using re-cycled plastic drinks bottles to make rockets and then to launch them for as great a distance as possible.
Why not go rhino spotting this summer?
Rhino Mania has taken over the city of Chester. Sixty-two large rhinos are now scattered across the city. The rhinos have been designed and painted by many different groups of people, including the girls of the Queen’s Lower School.
Athletics Success
The athletics team enjoyed a fantastic day at the AJIS Athletics event at Stanley Park in Blackpool. Twenty-four schools from all over the north west took part and the standard of competition was extremely high.
Dreams and Nightmares!
49 girls from Years 9 and 10 enjoyed two very different plays during a three day visit to Stratford and London during the half term holiday.
