Welcome
The Queen’s School is one of the country’s leading independent day schools, offering an outstanding education to girls between the ages of four and eighteen.  We are proud of our national reputation for academic excellence.
Winter Wonderland
We have had great fun at school recently, despite (or because of) the freezing weather. Lessons took on new themes: outdoor maths, PE Siberian style, and practical science.
Green Giving
Girls at The Queen’s School have turned their fund-raising efforts to helping pupils at a school in Africa as well as promoting biodiversity in the Chester school’s grounds.
Year 9 galvanise support for Haiti appeal
Prompted by the plight of the earthquake survivors in Haiti, teachers challenged Year 9 students to galvanise the school’s contribution to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s national fundraising effort.
Reception class visit to Delamere Forest
This term we are looking at different traditional tales as part of our work in Communication Language and Literacy. We decided to explore what it was like for the Three Little Pigs to build a house out of sticks.
Queen's Ball is a fundraising success
Claire House, a local children’s hospice, has thanked the school for its generous support after the Parents' Association raised almost £5,000 for the charity, in addition to funds for projects in the school, at the school’s biennial ball.
Stars in their eyes
Keen stargazers at The Queen’s School are celebrating after a generous benefactor presented the school’s astronomy club with an 8 inch refractor telescope.
