Parents' Association
The Queens School Parents Association (QSPA) exists to promote good relations among parents coupled with the objective to raise funds for worthwhile school related projects.
We hold a number of events throughout the year, details of which can be found at forthcoming events.
All parents are automatically members while they have a daughter in the school and we welcome contributions in whatever guise, be it a set of hands at the Garden Party to a generous donation of a prize for a raffle, we are always looking for volunteers and benefactors. The Association is run by an elected committee.
Objectives
In 2009 it is our aim to raise funds towards the purchase of the following items:
- Senior School – digital language equipment and one or two pianos.
- Lower School – lighting equipment for hall, portable wireless PA, perimeter fencing and gates.

Please remember these events are only successful with your support so do come along to as many as possible and have some fun whilst contributing to the school.

The Queen's Ball
This year's Queen's Ball was held on Saturday October 17th at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel. It was a wonderful
evening with delicious food and wine with
dancing to a great band!
Friday 3rd July – Golf Day at Chester Golf Course.
Golf Day 3rd July at Chester Golf club -a social albeit competitive day was enjoyed by 16 Dad's from the lower School. Congratulations to Mr Neil Mc Burney who won the Stableford competition.
Garden Party 4th July
The weather held off for the first time in 2 years (or almost did) and a wonderful fun day was had by parents children and friends which raised in excess of £3000 towards our objectives. Click here to view photographs of the day.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your assistance, kind donations and willingness to get involved as these events are only successful if we get high levels of participation.
The QSPA communicate forthcoming events via Queens’s Speech and notices via your daughter, however the most effective mode is e-mail so please if possible provide the school with an approved address for us to utilise.
