Welcome to the alumni pages of the website
These pages gather together information which we hope will be of particular interest to former pupils of the School. They provide information about events for former pupils and links to other School activities.
Oral history of The Queen's School
Listen to former pupils' recollections of the school. From illicit visits to pubs, to checking skirt lengths in the quad - this is definitely NQQS. Take part by capturing your recollections of the school.
Support the School
Take a look at the school’s new development pages and find out how you can support the School.
Have Mynde Archive now online
Thank you to everyone who has already supported the Archive Fund. The project has been moving rapidly: two rooms in the library have been identified as a physical archive space and copies of past editions of Have Mynde are now available online here.
News of former pupils
Louise Makin was a pupil of the school between 1960 and 1976, and is currently CEO of biotechnology firm BTG. Louise also recently did the three peaks yacht race and gave a fascinating talk at prize giving.
Michaelmas Supper 4th September
On Friday 4th September 2009, 35 of this year’s leavers returned to the school for the Michaelmas Supper. The girls had a great time discussing their plans for the future, and what they had been doing over the summer.
Reunion 2009 4th July
Over 80 former pupils from all over the country returned to the school for the annual reunion on 4th July organised by the newly created Alumni Office. There were many girls attending from years ending in a 9, as well as a large group from 1968.
1984 Reunion October 2009
On Saturday 10th October 2009, 43 former Queen’s School girls met for a 25-year reunion lunch at Bertorelli’s in London. It was the first time since we left the sixth form in 1984 that many of us had seen each other
Photographs from former pupils
We share some photographs sent to us by former pupils of the school. If you have any photographs from your time at the school which you would like to share with others, please send to the Alumni Department.
