Visiting The Queen’s School
There are many occasions on which prospective students and their parents can visit the school, and they can be assured of a warm welcome.
At Open Mornings for the senior and lower schools, visitors can tour the school, talk to staff and current students informally, look at the facilities and find out exactly what is on offer.
A Sixth form Open Evening for girls who are already studying at the school and for prospective sixth formers is held in November. This presents an opportunity to discuss subject choices and course structure and content. Information on extra-curricular activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Young Enterprise Scheme is also available at this event.
Other possibilities exist for girls to become familiar with the school. A fun Activities Day for girls from Year 5 takes place in July, and visitors can experience the Queen’s at Work Day in January. “Taster” sessions can be arranged at any time in both the senior and lower schools, by contacting the Admissions Officer.
